Bunch of questions

I've been meaning to put something like answering some questions about me, but hadn't found any set that doesn't overtly reveal too much about me. And I'm not feeling very creative to come up with my own, so I thought I just copy some fun questions I saw in my new friend's blog. Thanks Perri!

So here it goes.

1." Do you like blue cheese? Absolutely NOT. I give all mine to my hubby and he loves me more for it ;o)
2. Have you ever read a book in one sitting? Yes. I love books. I cannot have a day without reading one, but I hardly have a day that I can indulge to read a whole book. *sob* I can usually read Japanese novels (or at least used to) in one sitting. English books may take a bit longer, but I'm getting way better than before.
3. Do you own a gun? Um. Does pellet gun count? It is illegal in Canada to own firearms without registration. I intend to spend my money somewhere else, and leave the hunting to my macho friend Barry. Thanks for the venison, Barry!
4. Your favorite song? Hmmm. Too many to count. I think it'll be so unfair to bring up the first thing that comes to mind.
5. Do you get nervous before doctor's appointment? Sometimes. Not because of health problems or anything, but more for trying to communicate properly. I've had so many miscommunications, especially having doctors change so many times, it puts me on guard until there's a good understanding between us.
6. What do you think of hot dogs? Like them, but I try not to eat it too often. This word always reminds me of the first time I learn the phrase "Hot dog!" from my Pastor and makes me chuckle.
7. Favorite Christmas Song? Hmm. You know, it is impossible to name this too. I know what my oldest will say: Hark the Herald Angel Sing. I've got more.
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Tea or coffee. If the coffee isn't made, I opt for tea. Hubby is the coffee drinker.
9. Can you do push-ups? Only a few times.
10. Favorite thing about the person who sent this to you. I kind of took it without asking, but does that count? In scrapbooking, borrowing someone else's idea is a compliment. I hope this is, too. I LOVE her sense of humour, sense of justice, a warm heart and love of her family which all come out loud and clear in her blog ;o)
11. What is your favorite pice of jewelry? I'm not really into jewelry, unfortunately. I remember there was number of company incentives, but it just didn't motivate me at all. I like simple things. I treasure the engagement and wedding ring I got from my darling above all. I love silver jewelry in general. My current favorite is a simple medium size hoops.
12. Favorite hobby? I like baking, but I don't know if that would be a hobby. I like gardening and photography, but I'm not sure if that applies either. hmm. Love singing and listening to music, but I can't say that takes the forefront... I do scrapbooking and I enjoy it tremendously, but it isn't a priority at this point in my life. All time top list making item will have to be reading.
13. Do you put butter on popcorn? Yes - with salt, too. My friend started me eating popcorn with slices of cheddar cheese, and I'm hooked now to that.
14. Do you have ADD? I think I'm pretty animated, but I can't say that I'm ADD. I would say I'm Memory Deficient, though.
15. What trait do you hate about yourself? I choose the course of least resistance even when I know it may be wrong, and I won't try it if I can't do it well. In other words, I'm just plain lazy.
16. Middle Name(s): Nozomi - means 'hope' in Japanese
17. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment: I hope E (my younger one) will hurry up and finish eating his supper. It was so neat I got to see a new hummingbird. I better take this apron off.
18. Name 3 things you bought yesterday:running shoes for A, sandals for E... hmm. I believe that's it. I didn't buy anything else!
19. Name 3 things you drink on a regular basis: water, tea (various kind but once a day for sure), coffee.

I'm sure it was really hard at the time, but it is all softened with time passing, you know? I guess it is my blessed ignorance here. BUT I find it extremely hard to make myself stand out doing silly things in front of people like trying to blow out a marshmallow from my nostril in front of bunch of homeschool families I have just met the day before.
