Well, obviously I wasn't prepared for what was to come. A couple of hours later, this is what we see:

This is nuts.
My two sons discuss what size the flakes are. The littlest pipes up: "I think it is snowing pennies!"
But seriously, at one point it was quarter size and most of the time, nickel size. Yikes.
We evacuate my poor clematis that is in a pot. I'm thankful that we can move it. This one has been in nursing condition for quite sometime.
Then, this is what looks like all around my yard:



We played some monopoly. My oldest wound up crying at the end. He got really attached to his shares, it was too devastating to lose. Owww. Sorry son! And we look out, and this is what looks like out side!
